What's new in 1.8.7
The current release, built for Minecraft 1.21.11.
- A new Vexium logo, everywhere: the launcher, its startup animation and the game, smooth and sharp at every size
- Vexium moves to its own website, vexiumclient.org, with stronger protection for accounts, sign-in, keys and bans
- New emotes: Griddy, Billy Bounce, Floss, Robot, Macarena, Running Man and Chicken Dance, and you choose which ones are on your emote wheel
- Friends: a new screen to manage your friends. Type a name or click a player who is online, and remove friends with Undo
- Linux: the launcher window now opens on computers with an NVIDIA graphics card
- New Friends module: add players by name or by middle-clicking them. You can't hit friends, they glow (also through walls) and a crystal spins above their heads
- HUD editor: the settings panel stays put while you drag its Size slider, so resizing an element is smooth
- Buttons other mods add to the main menu, like Flashback's Open Replays, now show up in the Vexium menu

How much does Vexium cost?
Vexium is $0.99 for 30 days, $2.19 for 90 days or $6.99 for lifetime. Prices in dollars are approximate: FunPay shows the exact amount in your currency when you pay. You buy a key on our FunPay, then redeem it in your profile on this site. There's no subscription: nothing renews automatically, and every key you redeem adds time on top of what you have left.
How do I redeem my key?
After buying on FunPay you'll receive a key like VX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Sign in, open the Profile tab, paste the key and press Redeem. Each key works once. The launcher download then unlocks in your profile.
Can I get banned for using it?
Vexium Client only includes quality-of-life and visual features with no unfair advantages. Still, always check each server's rules on allowed mods.
Does it work with Sodium, Iris or other mods?
Vexium Client is built for Fabric, so it runs alongside most popular Fabric mods. Report any conflicts in our Discord.
Which versions are supported?
The current release targets Minecraft 1.21.11 on Fabric. Older versions aren't supported right now.
Windows or my antivirus warns about the launcher. Is it safe?
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" for programs from small developers that aren't code-signed yet, and some antivirus programs flag protected (obfuscated) code by mistake. Only download the launcher from your profile on this site. To run it, click More info → Run anyway. If your antivirus blocks it, add an exception for the launcher. If you're unsure, ask us on Discord first.
How do I run the launcher on Linux?
Download the Linux launcher from your profile: it's a single .AppImage file for 64-bit (x86_64) Linux. Make it executable with chmod +x Vexium*.AppImage (or tick "Allow executing file as program" in its properties), then double-click it or run it from a terminal. AppImages need FUSE 2: if it doesn't start, install fuse2 (Arch) or libfuse2 (Ubuntu/Debian). The game, Java and your settings are kept in ~/.vexium, and the launcher updates itself.
The game crashes on launch. What do I do?
Try lowering the Memory setting in the launcher, and make sure there are no duplicate mods in your mods folder (the launcher's Open folder button takes you there). If it still crashes, send your crash log in our Discord.
